STRONG WOMEN BOOKS (for Adults)

May 18, 2012

Here is our selection of great books for women to read, focusing primarily on novels that star strong female protagonists.  We could have labeled this post “Interesting Women In Novels.”  As we  searched through our bookshelves for those books portraying women, we were struck by the rich and complex character development and strong writing of these ones.  We’ve only chosen the ones that were compelling enough to read twice, and in each read, we were able to discover something new about the women, which in turn helped us to learn something new about ourselves.  It isn’t an exhaustive list and we tried hard to make it broad.  Hopefully, you’ll discover a good read for your next trip to the beach.
